Q. I’ve heard your weight-loss programs often include hCG. What is hCG?
A. A natural substance, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is produced in all human bodies, but especially in women during pregnancy. This hormone controls women’s metabolic functions and helps direct nourishment to the fetus.
This hormone forces your body to burn abnormal fat, instead of lean muscle tissue. Unfortunately, many low calorie diets are unsafe and include the loss of lean body mass. It’s critical for the success of long-term weight loss for the dieter to burn fat, not muscle.
Typically, our weight-loss program participants who take hCG don’t experience hunger, despite being on a low calorie diet. They also report having plenty of energy and enjoying a general feeling of well-being throughout their time on the program.
