J. Arden Blough, M.D. is Medical Director of The Steelman Clinic and founder of the Weight Loss for Life program. He is also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
Dr. Blough knows firsthand the challenges people face when trying to maintain good health. He has experienced it personally through BHRT and weight loss. He recognizes the importance of restoring hormones to optimal levels and incorporating a healthy lifestyle. He encourages patients to achieve their goals through medically supervised treatment in a caring atmosphere.
As Medical Director of The Steelman Clinic and The Broadway Clinic, Dr. Blough provides BHRT and medically supervised weight loss programs.
After graduating in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine at the OU Health Sciences Center, Dr. Blough practiced family medicine in Ponca City, Oklahoma and worked as an emergency room physician. He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association and American Society of Bariatric Physicians. He is also Medical Director for Mariposa Aesthetics and Laser Center in Oklahoma City and Edmond, helping ensure spa clients receive advanced solutions to their skin rejuvenation and body sculpting.
Kathryn Anne Hall, D.O.
Kathryn Anne Hall, D.O., graduated from Oklahoma State College of Medicine in 1990. She spent three years as a resident at Southwestern Medical School at the University of Texas, as well as one year as an intern at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
Hall was named Outstanding Senior Resident in 1995, earned the President’s Award-Academic Excellence in 1990, the Glasgow Award as Top Student, also in 1990, and was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. She is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP).
From 1995-2003, Hall was a staff neurologist with Warren Clinic.
“After a successful eight-year practice in neurology, my desire was to expand my medical expertise and enter the practice of bariatrics,” she said. “It is my good fortune to work with Dr. Steelman, who is one of the premier physicians in the practice of bariatric medicine. My goal is to emulate Dr. Steelman in the practice of bariatric medicine so that I may provide my patients with quality and caring medical attention.”
Mindy Simon, P.A.-C
Mindy Simon is a certified physician assistant who has always made fitness and health a part of her lifestyle. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2002 and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2006, where she was named Outstanding Student in clinical rotations.
She has experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as in total hip and total knee replacement. Simon is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP).

Lauri Stucki, Nurse Practitioner
Lauri Stucki is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City University in 1997 and worked as an RN in plastic surgery and neuro-spine surgery before returning to school to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Oklahoma City University in 2014. Lauri worked for several years in urgent care prior to joining the team at The Steelman Clinic in May 2016. Lauri graduated with honors, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, and was awarded the “Heart of Nursing” award in her DNP class. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Lauri has made health/wellness and fitness an active part of her daily life, and understands the struggle both men and women face in today’s busy daily lives. She has been married for 15 years and has 5 children. Lauri identifies the importance of healthy diet, exercise, as well as restoring hormones to optimal levels to maximize overall health and wellness. Her main goal is to work together with patients, supporting healthy choices in order to have a healthy, energetic, and vibrant quality of life.
